How to manage an additional library branch.
Identify the new location clearly
Add the additional library branch with a name your team recognises. Keep the location's details distinct, particularly when nearby branches use similar branding.
Set up the branch's own seats and members
Create seat and shift records for the new space. Do not assume that seat 12 in your first library is the same record as seat 12 in the second branch.
Switch before recording daily activity
Select the relevant branch before updating admissions, staff, payments or attendance. Verify the branch together with the member's name whenever a record looks unfamiliar.
Review collections in the correct context
Check each branch's fee records and daily accounts separately. Two additional branches alongside your main library are included only with your 12-month PRO subscription. Contact support if you need to increase your branch limit as you grow.
